Kelly Gant

Kelly Gant is a supervisor of animal outreach at the Fort Worth Zoo where she leads a team of passionate individuals. In Kelly’s position she is responsible for the care of an incredible collection of ambassador animals.

Kelly has been motivated and driven by a passion and unending curiosity about animals, behavior, and learning from an early age. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychological Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries from Texas A & M University, which increased her passion for the science of behavior and learning. After graduating from college, Kelly was hired on full time at the Fort Worth Zoo in the outreach department before being promoted to her current position.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys bird watching, rock climbing, and searching far and wide for the best donuts.
