PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Mentors can be mentored too. Now that you are a member of the network – make full use of it. Look through the AMZAP network list of your colleagues.  Is there anyone on this list who you don’t know, but whose institution or title suggests that they could be someone from whom you could learn? You can also learn more about our mentorship program to be matched with someone who could help with your career development.

Additionally, you can review the list of grants and scholarships below to learn about funding opportunities aimed at minorities in the zoo and aquarium field that can help you advance your career and gain valuable skills.
