Bee Burrows

Bee Burrows is an animal educator at Disney’s Animal Kingdom where she works to share conservation messages and answer questions from the public. Bee has been interested in working at a zoo since she was seven years old and saw one of Jane Goodall’s films. She began working at Disney in 2019 and is currently studying for a bachelor’s degree in zoology.

Bee has been discouraged in the field in the past when she didn’t see many others that looked like her in the community. She is proud that she can be a role model for others that may want to enter the field, especially as she is both biracial and part of the LGBTQ+ community. Bee hopes that she can be a role model and inspiration to those like her who may not believe that they can succeed in this community.
