Karlyn joined AZA in May 2020 to help support AZA’s communications efforts. Prior to joining AZA, she interned and worked at Walt Disney World Resort in the Public Affairs department and at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in a variety of in-park and office conservation education and communications roles.
Karlyn graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in public relations and minor in sustainability studies. While in college, she interned on the communications teams at the UF Office of Sustainability, the Gulf Coast Humane Society, and Gainesville Regional Utilities.
